Under ʔaq̓am law, Council has passed a Band Council Resolution prohibiting Steven Clowers (Alveraz) from residing on or entering ʔaq̓am Lands until further notice. The ʔaq̓am Council has a responsibility to protect the health, safety, and well-being of all residents, members, and visitors on ʔaq̓am Reserve Lands.
Council may review or rescind this exclusion at its sole discretion should circumstances materially change or should Council determine that the exclusion is no longer necessary in the interest of community safety.
