ʔaq̓am continues to strengthen our emergency management program to support the safety, well-being, and resilience of our community.
Over the past several months, work has been underway to update the ʔaq̓am Emergency Management Plan and Hazard, Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (HRVA). These updates help ensure our community is prepared to respond to emergencies such as wildfire, severe weather, infrastructure disruptions, and other hazards.
ʔaq̓am is inviting ʔaq̓amnik̓ interested in joining the Emergency Management Committee.
This committee helps guide planning and preparedness for emergencies that may affect our community.
No experience is required-just an interest in helping support community safety.
