ʔaq̓am Council by-election Mail in ballots

In accordance with the ʔaq̓am Election Regulations, mail-in ballot packages will ONLY be sent on request.  The following is a message from your Electoral Officer.

Mail-in Ballot Packages

If an Elector would like to receive a mail-in ballot package, please deliver your request with current mailing address to Tricia Thomas, Chief Electoral Officer. The request for Mail-in Ballot Package due January 8, 2021.

Pursuant to Section 135 of the ʔaq̓am Custom Election Regulations (Revised 2016), eligible electors must deliver a request for a mail-in ballot package to the Chief Electoral Officer at least 40 days prior to the date upon which the election is held.

Completed mail-in ballots are to be received by the Chief Electoral Officer before the time at which the poll closes on the day of the Election.
